About

Ciao!

I am a Operatic Basso, Classical Recitalist and Professional Actor.

My greatest passions are reflected in those disciplines.

Of course I have other passions (naturally).

I am also a proud member of SAG/AFTRA and AEA

Career

I made my professional Opera debut in the Live from Lincoln Center  telecast of The New York City Opera's acclaimed production of Porgy & Bess (YouTube). I debuted at Carnegie Hall in La Boheme (Colline), and have sung numerous concerts/recitals (and a few World premieres) at universities, cathedrals, and renowned venues including Alice Tully Hall; Town Hall; Merkin Hall; NJ Symphony Hall; & Mechanics Hall (MA). Recently, I performed an Epiphany Christmas Concert at Marc A. Scorca Hall in NYC’s OperaAmerica Center, and. I recorded a series of arias (soon to be happily supplanted this year) all of which can presently be viewed on YouTube.

While Opera remains my elusive passion, I am regularly featured as Bass soloist in Sacred works including my favorites,  Handel's The Messiah; Haydn's The Creation: Rossini's Stabat Mater and the Verdi Requiem. This past December, I was Bass soloist in Handel's Messiah, Bach's Magnificat and the Mozart Requiem in NJ/NY, conducted by Maestro Eugene Sirotkine. I began this year (2023) singing again in Mozart’s Requiem.  I am an acting veteran with Off-Broadway, Regional Theater and TV/Film credits (and a few World premieres as well lol,) as well.

My personal expressions of freedom  are best  reflected on a stage. Deep bow, and Curtain!

Passions

I revere individuality, distinctive personalities, and voices. Those qualities are mirrored in my vocalism, and my work. My passions are not static or limiting. I’ll read anything by Erle Stanley Gardner, James Baldwin, & Shakespeare, to cite three of my favorites. Leontyne Price, Maria Callas, and Montserrat Caballé,

paired with

Aretha Franklin, Barbra Streisand and Cher are

Diva Desert Island essentials.

Have I made my love for female voices obvious enough?!
